In the past few decades, in Mumbai, due to limited availability of land, an altogether new avenue of development has taken shape & a phenomenon known as redevelopment.
Over the years, existing buildings in prime locations have given way to swanky high-rise structures matching the aspirations of its residents. Along with redevelopment projects have come up its unique challenges and the municipal corporation and the government have to constantly keep fine-tuning the development regulations to cater to such projects.
